Global mixed martial arts organisation and one of the world’s leading combat sports properties, the Professional Fighters League (PFL), will kick off Season Two of its African tournament, PFL Africa, on Friday, April 10, 2026, live from the SunBet Arena in Pretoria.

PFL unveiled the full lineup for the Pretoria fight night on Tuesday, featuring an 11-fight card with four Welterweight Tournament bouts and seven showcase fights, including two women’s Strawweight contests.

The event marks the promotion’s return to the continent following a successful debut season that crowned four inaugural PFL Africa champions, each earning $100,000 alongside championship belts.

Season Two will showcase rising African prospects alongside proven contenders from more than 10 countries, the promotion has said as the league continues its mission to elevate Africa’s top mixed martial arts talent on the global stage.

South Africa’s pioneer PFL Africa Bantamweight champion, Nkosi Ndebele, headlines the card as he faces Italy’s Michele Clemente in the main event.

In the co-main event, South Africa’s Justin Clarke, a 2025 PFL Africa heavyweight finalist, takes on Senegal’s Abdoulaye Kane in what promises to be an explosive clash in the “Big Boys” division.

The Pretoria Card

Guinea-Bissau’s Yabna N’Tchala, the 2025 PFL Africa welterweight champion, begins his quest for a second title against South Africa’s Peace Nguphane in one of four tournament bouts. Meanwhile, Angola’s Shido Boris Esperança, last year’s finalist, will face Cameroon’s Emilios Dassi, a former semifinalist.

Kicking off the main card, Nigeria’s Samuel David will test his credentials against Egypt’s Abdelrahman Mohammad, as both undefeated welterweight prospects aim to advance in the tournament. DR Congo’s Eliezer Kubanza will also battle Nigeria’s Kunle Lawal as both fighters begin their pursuit of welterweight glory.

The Pretoria card also features two women’s strawweight showcase bouts, highlighting the promotion’s push to expand opportunities for female fighters across Africa.

Kenya’s Felista Mugo will face Uganda’s Annet Kizza in the opening bout, marking a significant moment for African MMA as two regional standouts step onto a major platform.

Another highly anticipated matchup is an all-Nigerian showdown between undefeated Police Corporal Juliet Ukah and fellow compatriot Jane Osigwe.
