Global mixed martial arts promotion, the Professional Fighters League (PFL), has unveiled the full fight card for the second fight night of Season II of PFL Africa.

Following a successful 2026 season opener in Pretoria, South Africa, in April, PFL Africa will next head to Lagos, Nigeria, with a 13-fight card featuring four Cameroonian fighters.

The event, scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos, will feature opening-round matchups in the PFL Africa Bantamweight and Lightweight tournaments, alongside showcase bouts involving some of the continent’s top emerging talents.

Octave Ayinda

Cameroon’s Octave “The Bantu Warrior” Ayinda will face Nigeria’s Patrick “Star Boi” Ocheme in the Lightweight Tournament as both fighters begin their quest for the championship belt and the $100,000 prize purse. Ayinda heads into the contest with a professional record of seven wins and one loss, while Ocheme has won eight of his nine professional fights.

In the Bantamweight division, Cameroonian prospect Alain Majorique, a 2025 PFL Africa finalist, will seek redemption against Liberian semifinalist Dwight Joseph in a clash with major tournament implications. Both fighters will be aiming to secure a place in the next round and move closer to the title.

Alain Majorique

Another highly anticipated bout on the card is the Light Heavyweight Showcase between rising Cameroonian fighter Styve Ngono and Nigerian prospect Richard Muzaan.

A former national sambo champion, Ngono made a memorable PFL Africa debut last December when he claimed a dominant decision victory over Ivorian fighter Meledje Yedoh, improving his record to seven wins and one defeat. Muzaan, a Nigerian kickboxing gold medalist, will make his PFL Africa debut in front of a home crowd with a record of six wins, three losses, and one draw.

Styve Ngono

Another Cameroonian expected to attract attention in Lagos is middleweight prospect Jordan Fongno. The Energy MMA fighter from Douala will take on Nigeria’s undefeated Yahaya Yahuza in a middleweight showcase bout.

Fongno enters the fight on a four-fight winning streak, having suffered only one defeat since turning professional in January 2023. The matchup has generated strong interest among regional MMA fans due to the fighters’ previous rivalry outside the PFL Africa cage.

The Lagos event will be headlined by a Featherweight Showcase bout between Nigeria’s Wasi “The Nigerian Jaguar” Adeshina and Spain’s Ignacio “Nacho” Campos. Adeshina, the 2025 PFL Africa champion, boasts a record of 10 wins and three losses, while Campos brings international experience from the global roster after winning seven of his last nine fights.

Fongno will make his PFL Africa debut against Yahuza

As part of efforts to expand opportunities for female fighters across Africa, the PFL has also included two women’s bouts on the card. Zambia’s Shelda Chipito will face Egypt’s Haidy Ahmed in a Women’s Strawweight contest to open the night.

Meanwhile, undefeated Nigerian policewoman Juliet Ukah will take on Brazil’s Elisandra Ferreira in another women’s showcase bout. Ferreira enters the fight with nine wins from 11 professional outings.
