Museum unveils dates for 2025 artistic & cultural summer holiday workshops

Are you looking for a place where your kids will have plenty of fun and learning opportunities as the 2024/2025 academic year draws to its end? Look no more. The National Museum has announced dates for the 2025 “Artistic and Cultural Holidays workshop”. It is a series of children-friendly activities to make the summer holidays memorable for your children and teenagers.

Like previous editions, the 5th edition of the workshops to run from June 24 to August 6, 2025 at the National Museum’s esplanade in in Yaounde offers a vibrant and enriching summer experience for children.

Organizers say the Artistic and Cultural Holidays provide a unique opportunity for young minds to explore their creativity and develop new skills in a fun and engaging environment.

For six weeks, children between three and 16 years of age will take participate in a wide range of activities including digital arts, painting and drawing, dance and music, theatre and arts and crafts – excellent opportunities for children to learn about new cultural patterns.

National Museum officials say the holiday workshops will run from Tuesday to Friday, between 10:00am and 2:00pm, providing a structured, yet flexible schedules for families.

It is worth noting that the National Museum is located in the nation’s capital, Yaoundé where potential participants can get more details about the forthcoming programme.
